Received this morning from Joe at Anglesey Watches
He sourced, serviced and cleaned this up for me, everything works as it should and it’s running spot on. It’s been tested to 50m so more than happy in the shower. I couldn’t be happier; what a stunning Seiko.
Thank you Joe, excellent service as always
That's great. Still one of my favourites! He sourced, serviced and cleaned this up for me, everything works as it should and it’s running spot on. It’s been tested to 50m so more than happy in the shower. I couldn’t be happier; what a stunning Seiko.

he’s been very communicative during the resto of the pogue and glad to say he seems in excellent spirits.
I’m not a child of the 70’s but there’s something about this one that’s always appealed, dimensionally it’s pretty perfect and is just a pleasure to look at / wear. Joe’s got the movement bang on too so it should be good for years to come
Sorry for the spam but very proud of this one

My father owned a Pogue in the ‘70s & ‘80s and I loved that watch. Unfortunately it got damaged beyond repair, and so I never got to have it. He was a big Seiko fan (probably why I like them as much now) and his last one before he passed away was just a quartz titanium Kinetic. Never like it that much, but one day put a Milanese bracelet on it and now my partner wears it, which I love as she never met my dad, and it sort of connects them.
Anyway, here’s my other two. My SKX009 and my recent SRPE51.

I’m hoping to hear back from Joe for a resto on my Father in Law’s Pogue. Looks like he’s done a great job on yours. He sourced, serviced and cleaned this up for me, everything works as it should and it’s running spot on. I can confirm he has bud. We agreed on the work done on mine which wasn’t to try and make it ‘as new’. The movement is now running very close to +-0 after a service and couldn't be happier. I’ve been toying with the idea of one of these for quite a while and finally ordered one last week. Anyway, it arrived on Tuesday and I have to say that I really like it.
The only problem is, the minute hand keeps losing time. I’ve synched it a couple of times and it still keeps falling behind the digital readout. Any ideas, or is it just faulty and I’ve been a victim of Seiko QC?
