With the greatest respect for Mr May, I think it looks F-ugly. I wouldn't be surprised if he thought the same. Seiko fan that he is.

Inclined to agree. That's not an attractive watch at all, in my opinion.

The design doesn't even mimic that of the guitar. I wonder how happy May actually is with that design.

The same money would be far better spent on one of the new Alpinists, I reckon.

I like it.
It's an SKX007, possibly my favorite watch ever, with a nice red dial and ring.

It supposedly limited to just 9000 pieces too...

I suspect this will be the future of the SKX007/9 they will be released as ltd editions.

I like it.paperbag

I still fancy a Seiko dive auto but need something very different to my Citizen. That said, my wife would give me a different type of red ring if she found out how much.

What Citizen do you have?

I have a BN0150

She is getting better at spotting differences in my toys so it is harder to smuggle stuff like L-glass, Lego boxes and watches past her.

If it was me and I'd want another driver I'd get one with a splash of colour, otherwise they're going to look pretty similar anyway.

Something like a Pepsi Samurai (SRPB53) or SKX009.

That’s the one. Very nice. I still have it on the PVD bracelet and am looking out for a nice leather.

Can't recommend Pav highly enough. Neptune straps on Etsy. Look through his pictures and decide on what you want. Give him the lug to lug measurement, the width and the size of the wrist. He will do the rest. Excellent quality.

My beloved SNZH53 is cutting into my wrist badly, but only in one spot. I've changed the strap, adjusted it but with no luck.

It's pretty much making the watch unwearable which is gutting as I love it.

I might have to sell it on.

I'm always surprised at how hefty this Seiko feels. Mine feels great when on. I have a bit of a Federer arm/wrist so maybe that's something to do with it.

Hope you find a solution that lets you keep it....

Thanks. The strange thing is it didn't do this initially and I haven't changed weight.

Can you stick it on a bund strap?

I mentioned it before, I got rid of it because I didn't like the bracelet and there's actually very little space to put something else there (like a nato).
I also think the design doesn't lend itself to it so well.

An early 60s Goldfeather has just landed from Japan. A 2.95mm thick movement means its pretty slender! They even went to the trouble of bending the long hands to match the dome of the crystal.
