Most definitely my next addition.I can't walk past a shop window without stopping to admire. I'm not a Rolex person in general but that is probably the only model I'd consider.

What's the model name /number?

Was going to go for a Ocean Titanium 500 on the basis that it didn't look like a 'tribute' design. But then I saw the GMT edition and that went out of the window.
Good looking watch but is that not just a blatant copy of a Rolex GMT?
Massively, but it's a nice looking watch and isn't a snide.Good looking watch but is that not just a blatant copy of a Rolex GMT?

I've thought about these. I'm a bit of a Steinhart fan. OVM, OV Bronze and Nav B Chrono. I'm after a GMT, and I'd happily have one if these (for a lot less than my budget), but I'm put off by the light weight and 'delicacy' of titanium. Can anyone reassure me?
Delicacy?Titanium (grade 5) is a bit harder than 316L/904L, and Citizen/Seiko (grade 1 – commercially pure Ti – at the low end) is protected with their proprietary optically clear coatings of Duratec and Diashield respectively, making it virtually scratchproof.

I've been given to understand that Steinhart's titanium marks quite easily.Titanium (grade 5) is a bit harder than 316L/904L, and Citizen/Seiko (grade 1 – commercially pure Ti – at the low end) is protected with their proprietary optically clear coatings of Duratec and Diashield respectively, making it virtually scratchproof.
Been after a GMT watch for a while (was looking at a Steinhart above, and a Longines Conquest GMT), and ummed and ahhed over this one as it was over budget. But decided to bite the bullet and just grabbed it while the pre-order discount was still available.
Bit of a risk as I'm just having to hope it wears nicely on my wrist, but fingers crossed...

I know, not everyone can afford or even want to spend on a Rolex and Steinharts are probably ok watches but they are blatant copies of major brands designed to fool people from 5 yards away.
You may as well get a $25 snide from the Lookie Lookie man.
I'm sure you can get a decent, original watch for Steinhart money.
Other opinions are available
Yawn. The Rolex was itself a derivative design. Many manufacturers have dive/GMT style watches. Some are more expensive than Rolex.
I was considering a Pro-Hunter modded version of a Submariner. I wasn’t sure I’d like it enough for the not insignificant price. I bought a Steinhart Ocean Black to see how I felt about it. I could then relegate the watch to the back of the collection if it didn’t really work for me. It is a very nice watch but I only wear it 5 or 6 days a year. In short, I didn’t like the style enough to want to wear a Pro-Hunter for any meaningful period of time. So I didn’t buy one. I’ve kept the Steinhart. It lives in a drawer.
I don’t claim it is a Rolex. I don’t assume anyone thinks I’m wearing a Rolex. I very much doubt that anyone would, even at first glance, believe it is a Rolex (they don’t make a PVD model). If anyone is clued up enough to know the Rolex PVD mod market, they will definitely know it is not a Rolex. Zero potential kudos in wearing it in my mind or the mind of others. For me it comes down to if I like the watch or not.
I was by chance wearing it once in Geneva when I met a mate. He brought the boss of the local Rolex store along. The Rolex chap thought it was funny. Tried to rip the urine for not buying a real one but he knew he didn’t have a watch that I’d replace it with.
