Bought this Seiko SSC051P1 recently, been after one for a while and then noticed that Creation Watches were selling it for £147 which is over £100 less than where I was going to buy it from....

(yes, I know the bezel needs altering)

Not as fancy as some of the watches in here, but I had a G-Shock GA-100-1A4ER turn up today. I was getting a bit fed up of the battery in my Samsung Gear only lasting a day and thought I'd get a 'proper' watch. I wanted something that could take a little bit of a battering at work, and at £50, the G-Shock seemed to fit the bill.

Treated myself to this gorgeous article for Fathers day.
Fits in nicely with my 3 Tudor heritage Black Bays and Seiko SKX007.

I've been umming and erring big time over this £225 but it's nothing compared to some of the prices on here! I do love G-shock though. This is their steel series.

Just got this delivered - sits on my puny 7.5 inch wrists. It's the 42mm version. Watch is bloody thick! I believe the 8500 movement is to blame!

I had a bit of a watch spree today, bought four. Unfortunately, only one for me, the other three as gifts for my groomsmen.

Combined RRP of those three is £225 but I got all for just over £100 with WatchShop discounts.

The fourth is a Royal London pocket watch, a first for me, and is also hand wound, another first. Bought as an accessory for my kilt wedding outfit.

I've a few questions about the pocket watch: how often does it need wound? And do they survive being left unwound for long periods of time? I won't be wearing regularly and don't want to cause damage by leaving for months at a time.

I wouldn't normally "+1" a post but have to agree. That is a lovely looking Rolex - congrats.

Have been thinking about getting a second time zone watch for a while. Tried one of these on at an authorised dealer in Hong Kong and decided if I could get it for near the lowest grey market price, I'd buy it. 22% off list got me pretty close, so it's sitting on my wrist now smile

I like the simplicity of the face, and that is a chunky piece of glass covering it!
