Pre-ordered one of these last night, will be my 11th TAG and despite the brand snobbery from some, I think they make a lovely watch.

Hi I just love that watch could I ask where did you get? It just happens I purchased a mobility scooter for my dad on Friday when I went to collect it in Watford the owner had been the chief accountant for Smiths Industries a very nice man with a couple of nice story's regarding Smiths.

Just found the web site thinking of the Seafire or Black Shadow

I've had a Seafire and although it is a nice watch, I prefer the Everest by quite a margin. It just feels like a more quality product plus it's an auto. The Black Shadow looks good though. Timefactors do some decent watches for not silly money and they purchased the rights to the Smiths name some years ago IIRC.

Have been thinking about getting a second time zone watch for a while. Tried one of these on at an authorised dealer in Hong Kong and decided if I could get it for near the lowest grey market price, I'd buy it. 22% off list got me pretty close, so it's sitting on my wrist now smile
I still think that these are stunning.

Thanks. A few weeks in and I'm still loving it. I've had a few positives comments from friends and colleagues too. My only small grumble is that it would be better if the main dial moved with the change in time zone, rather than the sub dial, but I guess mechanically that would be more difficult.

I like these too, it's like a vintage version of the EZM10 - in a good way!

Just bought a Collings and Heal chronopro with a blue leather strap. Can't wait to get it, a friend bought one in 2013 and I'm very impressed with it.

Holiday & a hectic few weeks means I've only just had time to take some half decent photos, despite having had my PADI since late August

Very nice, 40mm? I've been looking at the same recently in Rose Gold.

Also wore one many years ago - the days of yuppies and Motorola 8500's!

I like that, obviously knew Smiths made automotive instruments but didn't know they ever made watches. I like the look of the black shadow.
