Got a Steinhart Ocean 1 Bronze one the way. It's new so won't be in as nice condition as this one. biggrin

I've got one of those! I bought it because I took a fancy to the new bronze Tudor, and this was a cheaper way of deciding if I liked bronze watches.

Well I do, so I kept it biggrin

Combined wedding/30th pressie - was hunting for a older Breitling Superocean, but no joy on the one I wanted.

Always discounted the PO because I have tiny girl wrists, but having tried the 42mm and the 43.5, the bigger one looks better IMO (the 45.5 chrono looked suitably daft). Hadn't seen the blue GMT in the flesh (but loved it on the Omega site) and was originally set on the black on black leather, but went for the blue on blue GMT in the end. Love it smile

Have absolutley no need for the GMT complication as I don't tend to take a nice watch when travelling, but the orange I think is what sold it for me. Can use it to annoy people by constantly giving them the 24hr time I guess smile

I spotted that on TZ-UK too. That's a serious piece of kit. Well done, Andy.

I have a GMT watch and don't travel abroad much, so by the same token you would think i wouldn't have much use for it. However......

......You may find more uses for it than you imagine. The two main uses I've found are firstly that my dad spends a lot of time abroad and it's a useful reference for when he may be awake and able to talk. Secondly, if you live stream any foreign footage, like the Superduperbowl, you can see when it'll be on.

I don't usually do "unboxing" shots, but this is a very special watch for me. One I've lusted after for absolutely years.

As I expected, I couldn't sleep last night, so I was on the road by 5:30am. Driven 480 miles round trip to collect this and I couldn't be happier.

Not quite sure what else to say - I'm a bit blown away to be honest.

That is a pretty spectacular thing. But.... Is it just me, or do these two pictures make it look like something from a market stall? wink
