TOO LARGE!?? I hope that you grow into it, like a new school blazer bought in September...
Did you go with a deployment clasp? How does it feel on the wrist?
It does look a little large, but such a beautiful watch - Congrats!
One thing I've noticed is that the blue numerals and strap can look black in various light conditions.
Yes, it has a deployment clasp. It's what i would consider to be the most basic type, which folds over in thirds and you push to clip it down and pull it to release. I have other much cheaper watches that use push-button clasps and so on that seem more thoroughly engineered.
It's a very comfortable watch to wear. It's not heavy and just seemed right straight out of the box. The chronograph is a useful complication; the pushers for it take far more shove to engage than they have on quartz chrono's I've owned. Watching the hands instantly jump back into line when you reset it still keeps me amused. Not exactly as exotic as an A. Lange Double Split (which if you haven't seen, watch here from around 3:30 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eP6xiNeFQ-w&t=... but still fun.
It makes me happy every time i put it on and i couldn't recommend it enough. I hope you get one, you won't regret it
This arrived just before Christmas and so far I am loving it.
Having previously been a mechanical movement only sort it watch-lover I am really getting into the high accuracy quartz - this has a rather clever perpetual calendar, 5 secs/year movement.
The picture does not do justice to the dial, I think I need a New Year's present to myself of a macro lens for my new camera.

Rubbish pic as it was taken under the bright lights of an AD and I hadn't adjusted the strap however I tried this earlier today.
This year is supposed to be one in which I cull some of the collection, not grow it, however I had an inheritance come through a few weeks back with the instruction to "enjoy it"... Never owned either a Breitling or a titanium watch before, I wouldn't buy new however if a used one came up at the right price... Sorry, not an "incoming", well not yet anyway.

Just about the only current Breitling I like - buy it (and then flip it to me in few months )Anyway, I picked up a very nice 2016 Speedy Pro today. I had one years ago & had been looking to replace it for a while and I've also got one of the new DLC'd Seiko Turtles awaiting collection from the sorting office. Pics to follow.

That is very nice
I'm selling a Glycine Combat over in the sales section as I kept looking at the dial and thinking it was too fussy for a diver's watch (impulse buy). That is perfect and love the handset. How robust does the coating look to be?
Thanks - they are apparently "limited edition" but I'm not clear on the actual production numbers, or how many are coming to the UK.I'm selling a Glycine Combat over in the sales section as I kept looking at the dial and thinking it was too fussy for a diver's watch (impulse buy). The coating is DLC, so should be pretty robust.
