What brought you to them? Any comments? How about accuracy/reliability.
I asked them about lug width as I couldn't find it.
I've always liked the 'boutique' brands (Benarus, OWC, Steinhart), and found Magrette around ten years ago. I don't remember how, but I fell in love with the original Moana Pacific diver. The first one I bought (the PVD version) had a Miyota movement, but since then, they've moved up the chain and the latest models are STP.I asked them about lug width as I couldn't find it.
They've always been incredibly accurate. I've never tested them, but they are within a few seconds per day. The cases are 44mm, and the lugs are 24mm, so they're Panerai size, and fairly weighty, but that's what I prefer. This latest model (Moana Pacific II) is also available as a 42mm, because fashion seems to be favouring smaller watches these days.
Magrette don't pretend to have a history or legacy; they just do what they do. I like the fact that they're not very common. Service has always been very good, and I really like they way the look.

It might be obvious, but what is the James bond mod?
press both buttons and the 'ejector seat' is triggered, firing the spring loaded crown in the direction of the baddie that has you tied to a seat and is drilling things in your head. Got the idea from the last james bond film. 00 license required, so special order.Q
