Incoming… what do you have? (Vol. 3)

I'd worry it felt a little small, compared to some of the oversized watches that have become de rigueur. Pretty much all of my watches are 39mm plus, up to my old SMP) at 43mm (?) dia.
I guess the diminutive dimensions may make it a little more classical and perhaps dressy?
Really like them, definitely on the list. Need to try one first though.

It is probably on the smaller side as you say, I'm not really a fan of larger watches, biggest I have is a 40mm Tag F1.I guess the diminutive dimensions may make it a little more classical and perhaps dressy?

This is my favourite, only 31mm believe it or not but I got it from my dad for my 18th birthday and love the simple design.
One of these arrived over the weekend from Timefactors
I already have an 18A but the new PRS18Q COSC was too much watch for the money to resist.
I've also done a deal on this today
A lovely BLUMO with a domed sapphire crystal.
Anyone know a good divorce lawyer as I might need one soon at this rate

I find 44mm perfectly acceptable on my 7.5" wrist though
Panerai look extra big because of the crown guard.
24mm strap is wide though, have an entire drawer full of 22mm straps so would love a 22mm one.
Edit:
Pre-ordered this:
Edit 2: they got back to me, 22mm strap! Can't wait for this to arrive .
Never seen these before, and really like the one shown, that is currently open for pre-order. Never having seen one in the flesh, or tried one on, I just emailed them to ask about the potential returns policy if I don't quite like it. I prefer a bigger watch, but that said, the 42mm might look ok. Do they only sell direct, or do they have UK dealers?Panerai look extra big because of the crown guard.

They sell direct, but they do have a European dealer http://webshop.forasec.com/webstore/magrette/p-1/I've never used them though, and I have always dealt direct with Dion in NZ. I've bought four watches from him now, over ten years.

Thanks for that. Very tempted at the lira £500 price. Seems a lot of watch for your money. How have your other ones worn over the years? What do you do about servicing them, just use a local watch specialist?I've never used them though, and I have always dealt direct with Dion in NZ. The movements are off-the-shelf (Miyota in the old days, STP now), so servicing hasn't been a problem. They have always been very accurate, and I love the way they look. 'Fashion' seems to be for smaller watches, but all mine, at 44mm are perfect for me. They're heavyish, and quite tall (although I don't have a Leoncino as pictured in your quote above), and I am very a happy. I wouldn't keep going back if I wasn't I tend to prefer diver watches, which is why I've never bought a Leoncino, but if you like the looks, then I know the quality will impress. As to how it'll wear, I don't know.

Thanks very much. I will wait to hear back from them in regards my email and may place an order.I tend to prefer diver watches, which is why I've never bought a Leoncino, but if you like the looks, then I know the quality will impress. As to how it'll wear, I don't know.
The only very tiny niggle is that is this simply a Paneria Hommage with a decent movement in it? I see it as a watch in its own right, but maybe i'm biased.

I have a Magrette Bronze I've had for years.
Comfy to wear, seems well made and good lume. Only regret is they didn't do a bronze crown.
The original ones were touted as bronze but they later found the company making them used the wrong metal and its actually trumpet brass. They offered to swap cases for anyone who wanted it but I think pretty much everyone kept the brass one.
I've always hankered after one of their engraved watches....

Early days, I only bought it yesterday, but I love it.
In a way, it's like my North Flag, quite stealthy and under the radar. It's not a flashy watch. When examined closely though, the finish and detail is stunning.
Not sure it's a dress watch, though I'd quite happily wear it with a suit - where I wouldn't wear a diver.

Been after a GMT watch for a while (was looking at a Steinhart above, and a Longines Conquest GMT), and ummed and ahhed over this one as it was over budget. But decided to bite the bullet and just grabbed it while the pre-order discount was still available.
Bit of a risk as I'm just having to hope it wears nicely on my wrist, but fingers crossed...
But they're throwing in a free rubber strap as an apology

Built like the proverbial brick outhouse and weighs quite a bit, but wears nicely and doesn't feel big on my wrist - in fact the shape, and the brilliant size options of different links (3 different sizes to choose when adjusting it) in the bracelet made it easy to get the right size and make sure it doesn't slip around.
(and no apologies for the pictures - phone was all I had a available, so there... )
