A couple of crackers there ^^^ How do you find the Damasko bracelet? If you need them Damasko will supply 10mm links (8mm is the regular size) if you need to fine tune the fit.
Thanks. It is your fault I have ordered the Damasko. I drooled over the pictures you originally posted of yours and I have wanted one ever since. Watch has not arrived yet, should be here next week, the bracelet will be arriving 5 weeks later. It has been a drawn out affair and will update the Damasko specific thread with my full experience in due course.
Have also predicted the need for some fine-tuning and (again) thanks to your previous advice on these forums, ordered a set of the 10mm links just in case.
I ordered the SKX and Super Oyster last week in a fit of pique as needed that new watch hit, although now seems they will be (mostly) arriving all in the same week!

Which Damasko, DA36? I like them but some of them look pretty large for my wrist of a small girl.
Yup, it's the bottom of the pile DA36 on steel bracelet. I still think it's their best looking watch, even if it's the entry level one. The older models tend to look big on the screen as they have a no bezel and lots of 'face', plus the clarity of the dial/handset, I think, makes them appear larger than they are...hopefully know more next week!Mezzanine said:

I forgot about that other thread, would be interested to hear about your purchasing experience in due course as there have been a good few tales about one of the UK based Damasko retailers, if that's where the issue was.

I'll wait until everything turns up first before I update so I have a true start to finish process to judge on. I was well aware of 'those tales' which is why I didn't use 'them'...

Nice! Have you had any update from the AD on availability dates on the new CHNR yet? I've got the Two Tone version on order.
July/August at this time. I'm my AD's fave so get the first one. Have the Pepsi on order too. From experience they're very sporadic. I got one of the first sea dwellers in the country, but was a few months behind on the ceramic daytona.I don't think even Rolex know what their supply chain is like.

Thanks. Think my AD has a few people (but not many) ahead of me for the TT version. I'm on the list for the Pepsi too but would imagine there are some longer standing customers who will see one before me. I'm tempted to get on the list for a black SS GMT Master as well, which are probably easier to come by.I don't think even Rolex know what their supply chain is like.

i do worry that rose gold will date... if you like it then it doesn't matter really though.
I have a rose sky dweller I love, and a gold day date ii.I quite like the look of bringing the 80's back, makes you look a right tit with a decent tan in a sunny place

yellow gold was somewhat unloved for 20 years or more until recently, mainly due to the image issues you have alluded to! However it has come back into fashion a bit of late. I'd just be a bit concerned that as lovely as rose gold is, that in a few years it might all get lumped together under the same category as michael kors... whether someone spent £200 or £20k.
Meh, I think the brand is a bit strong to get lumped into the same category, regardless of whether rose goes in or out of fashion. I've purchased it to wear and enjoy anyway, not hugely concerned whether anyone knows what it is as long as I do I prefer the new black dialed sky dweller to the old champagne one, maybe that'll be next.

Nice! I've opted for something similar, but slightly less blue, with a black dial and chapter ring! I should also receive the navy rubber strap and clasp for free due to an offer that ran for a very short period of time. However I quite like the idea of the Arpin wool strap - Another bit of Swiss history! Be sure to post some pictures when it arrives!
