I'm not normally a fan of bright colours on watches but thats really quite lovely!https://danhenrywatches.com/products/1970-automati...
An expensive day today - having only ever owned one watch (my 1966 Oysterdate) I popped into my local AD to enquire about the waiting list for a GMT Master black dial, to be told I could be 3rd on the list. £500 deposit immediately placed! Maybe 6 months wait....
I then decided I really needed something in the mean time and purchased a lovely new datejust as above. I collect in about a weeks time. Had nice chat about watches other than Rolex too.
Having never purchased a watch there before, I was very pleasantly surprised to be taken seriously when asking about a steel sports Rolex. I do fear this relationship could get expensive though!

Picked this up last month, Its not the best picture, but i'm sure there will be more.
Zenith el Primero full open. 38mm
I have to admit i just love the movement, and the history of it.
It's not a dress watch, and i wouldnt call it a casual one either, all i know is that i really do like it
Now that’s a touch of class.Zenith el Primero full open. 38mm

Stayed out of this thread for a few years as my habit was getting out of hand.
Seeing the A-13A on here just is a reminder why.
Luckily just out of my buy it now what the hell price.

Saw this reduced to £2670 in Liverpool over the weekend.Jayb, you're right, it would definitely have been rude not to
Just arrived this morning courtesy of Mr Hackett:
I've been after a good one for ages though could never decide on which model to go for. I even bought a "Batman" as a substitute but, whilst being a nice watch in it's own right, it didn't scratch the itch for a Pepsi unfortunately. After lots a research and reading various forums I decided on the 16710 as it's probably the simplest to use and own, certainly to set.
I messaged Dominic yesterday PM and, as luck had it, he had one just arrived from a full Rolex service. Good timing really, not like me at all. No original box or papers but it does have the 2 year service warranty which is fine for me as it's not for sale/flipping. After a brief discussion it was on it's way up North and is now on a pad in front of me.
I was offered a new shiny bezel for it though declined as it's taken a long time to get the fading it now has. Apart from the bezel it's literally as new. It still has the service stickers on it at the moment though I'll probably remove them when I decide to give it an outing. Or not...
