I don’t know what it is, or what it does, but I want one!

The SKX009 arrived this morning and I've been wearing it all day. The rubber strap is a bit stiff but that's to be expected on a new watch. I find it very comfortable. One slight surprise though is that the movement is purely automatic. Can't be manually wound. Guess I'll just have to be more active on my holidays!

Well, except, I can’t read the bleedin’ time as it’s too small. I’d have to assume it’s “Pimms o’clock” whenever I looked at it and that would be awesome.

Same strap on the skx007, it lasted ten minutes, didn't wear the watch until the bracelet arrived. I really REALLY did not find it at all comfortable. A friend said to try forming it by dipping it in boiling water to soften it but who has time for that ste?

Similar experiences here. Have an SKX on the Z22 which was the most rigid, uncomfortable strap ever and I couldn't get the watch head to sit comfortably. Swapped it to a sail cloth. Also have an SRP Turtle which came on the improved Z22 which is softer and has a steel keeper. Again, couldn't get it to sit comfortably on my wrist so sourced the Seiko bracelet for it.

I am not normally a fan of Rolex at all, but that really is very nice indeed. Not too “blingy”, in fact I’d almost describe it as understated. Congratulations and I hope you continue to enjoy it.

I've been wearing it for two days now on the rubber strap and hardly notice its there. Each to their own I suppose.

Wow I love that. I rarely look up watches but I did that one. I’d love one in black. I’m about £8k short though

Yesterday's delivery.
A nice 38mm half price bargain in the CW sale.
Much smaller than my normal choice (8" wrist) but doesn't look too out of place. Changed the nasty leather strap to a black NATO that was kicking around in the drawer.

I've been having an absolute mare trying to find a NATO on the right colours.

I have to say I love that strap, at first I was not sure at all, but now one of the most comfortable straps I have owned.

Incoming Tudor BB GMT. I really want an S&G as well though. I’m not quite a well built director yet though so one at a time.

Outgoing will be my Glycine Incursore.

Keen to see the Seiko - very nice.

It's very nice & it doesn't wear as big as the 44.8mm stated diameter would have you believe. My wrist is 7.25".

I don't think I'm keeping it though.
