My Pam111 eventually arrived, never had a Panerai before to me the pictures you see of them don't do them justice a really nice watch (chunky so I get not everyone's cup of tea) but I'm pleased as I like chunky and it's what they always were.

The sandwich dial is great and the fairly workmen like movement is nicely finished.

I know 99% of you won’t like this but I’m in love with this AP. Factory diamond and limited edition run. Being in my late 20’s I’ve had my eye on this watch for a while now. I’m trying to come to an agreement with the seller on a better price. If all goes well I’m looking to pull the trigger soon.

I’m not a fan of AP watches at all, even the “plain” ones. The styling isn’t my cup of tea, but I can appreciate the “engineering” of them. Although the “slotted bolts” disproportionately annoy me. No need.

I was just wondering if it was a requirement for Watch stores to notify the police when one of these is purchased under the "There is no chance the money is legit" law. I was relieved to see "Dibble" is/are already on the case

I am not an AP fan either and adding diamonds to a man's watch has never improved the looks imo. However, I am old enough to be your father so what do I know. I am going to guess negative feedback from old people is part of the driver for buying the watch. So, I support this purchase even if I genuinely would not wear it if it was given to me.
