I picked this up on Weds. Very happy. There is lots of commentary about how special Grand Seiko watches are in the flesh where the quality of finishing and attention to detail is so evident - I'm happy to endorse that view!

Unfortunately this was an early purchase for my birthday which isn't until May - so it's now being taken away from me for 6 months!

I can’t tell you how exquisite it is in the flesh, it was so worth the wait

Yes it's new, managed to get an allocation, put my name down some considerable time ago.

Apparently they take 18 months to make and you can see why, it's just gorgeous, I've never been so pleased.

Over the moon......which I can now tell you is full tonight!!

just far too close a design to a rolex dive watch though, for me.

Christmas present from Mrs Dangerous, absolutely thrilled with this. Classic “form-follows-function” design and supremely legible. The back story for this watch has been covered numerous times here before and easily available on Google, worth a read if you’re not familiar.

How I got mine earlier this year. I found another discount code and for it for about £230, absolute bargain.

I think mine was around £330, it was purchased back in the summer when they had them on sale at Watch Shop and has been waiting in the cupboard for Christmas. Amazing watch for the money even at that price. I was a little concerned about the size (normally wear 40-42mm max) but the black case really brings it in. Great watch if you are even a little bit interested in space/engineering stuff.

Great watch - I got mine in June and wear pretty frequently given the number I have to choose from!
I bought the silver then fitted a custom strap to replace the original Velcro one. My custom one has a leather tabe with the date of the Hadley Rille mission and the location.
