Getting my Seiko SBGK005 Grand Seiko delivered in the next day or so. Not too many of the 1500 made left available.

Almost £1k off list price, so am very happy

Not had a new one in a while!

This is an SBGY003, it's a hand wound spring drive with no date and the power reserve on the back. It's got a small face and I believe this one has been nicknamed the Grand Cocktail, although I gather some people don't like that name...

It's my favourite new GS by far. It's really slim and comfortable to wear, and the whole thing is very very low key.
I have a couple of cocktail dial Presage models, nothing wrong with the name at all. Nice watch

Got a brand new Timex Navi Harbor 38mm TW2R73300 for 60% of retail off eBay (£60)

The stock nylon zulu strap is utter rubbish

So bought a cheap leather strap off Amazon (£12), borrowed some oilatum moisturiser (shushhhhhh), coated it in that, and then curled up and bound with elastic bands, left for 3 days to soak, soften and shape

Cleaned the strap good and fitted, hey presto a rare'ish new Timex on a pre broke in soft leather strap

gorgeous. Tried one of these on last weekend. What made you go for it over say, a snowflake? Have you got any wrist shots?

Wrapped up, ready for my birthday in November.

It’s odd how whenever I buy my own presents I end up getting exactly what I want.

H. Samuel Oxford Street - they price matched an expired internet offer. £336, down from £449.

These Lunar Pilots are seriously lovely things for anyone looking for a Chronograph at sensible money.

Excellent. I managed to order during the offer (was only on a couple days), including the newsletter sign up 10% code, for £303!

I've had my eye on the Lunar Pilot for a while but wanted it discounted before I bought it, considering its price has been rising I was sceptical but pricespy to the rescue and I bought it from H Samuel.

Came earlier this week, however I had to exchange it as it was faulty. The B button wasn't working properly it was like it was stuck in.

H Samuel exchanged it quibble and wore it first time today. Swapped the fabric strap onto it straight away.
