This landed at the weekend cool

Nice! I’ve been on “the list” for that since launch.. Surprised one hasn’t appeared yet. I’ve been offered the all rose gold version twice but it’s too much bling (and £!) for me smile
i think that is the rose gold version, is it not? Lighting not great but looks like it is.

Can't imagine it'll be much longer a wait. I waited just over 12 months from putting my name down. Chatting to the AD current wait is 12/18 months

Bottle of fine red and a good feed led me to this.
Got a great deal I think with 15% discount. I'm hoping it is as good as it looks (to me anyway)
Sitting in the kitchen waiting for delivery allegedly by 1300hrs!!

I'm hoping it wears as good as I think it will!

It is pretty to go to be fair , I love the 24hr bezel which also has the first 15 min divers scale
also has a funky adjustable clasp . Its a lot of watch for the money I'd say

I regretted selling my Planet Ocean the day I sold it (for £1,250 not that long ago!) and have finally managed to replace it. Also just purchased a G-Shock GW-5000-1JF and a composite bracelet to go with it. I reckon it’s probably about the fourth or fifth I’ve owned but I’m definitely keeping it this time!

Following on from BluePurpleRed's purchase from a random polish microbrand on the wrist check thread, one of these is in the post to me hopefully arriving tomorrow:

Really? Pure speculation on my part (don't hate me), I know it gets rumoured to be discontinued every year but it's got to happen at some point. 50th anniversary in 2021?

I have the black faced version. It is one of the most comfortable watches. I do sometimes wish I had gone for the polar version. You won't regret it. Good health, etc, etc.

I think the Explorer II and the Milgauss are the only Rolex I'd ever actually own.
The Explorer in particular I think is criminally underrated as a piece of design, I much prefer it to the GMT-Master
