It’s been far too long since my last watch purchase (a Speedmaster, some years ago) and been looking for a reasonably priced, smartish looking watch for work wear (chinos/blazer type thing) & weekends.

After getting used to the size (slim and 37mm), think this will do the job:

Arrived from italy today.

Absolutely terrific watches that pleasingly fly under the radar.

Lander is very nice and high on my list of future purchases too

Based on the comfortable size of the Stanhope would also like to see the Hudson too.

Think will be making a visit to their showroom to try on a couple once they're back open...

Citizen WORLD PERPETUAL A?T

Question: I’d like to swap the strap for a brown leather one. The lugs look different to most watches and are recessed if that makes sense. Any idea where I can find something suitable.

Very, very excited.

Getting a lightly worn, pre-owned one of these tomorrow

It's costing me my BLNR & a chunk of cash, but hey, we're only here once.

I have wanted one of these since trying one on when they were new out, approx 5 years ago.

Never had a gold watch before. Must be a sign I'm getting old smile

Congrats. 37mm or 40mm? I'm trying to convince the Mrs that we could "share" the 37mm version. I think the only issue with pre-owned on these is the length of the oysterflex straps, which are measured and fitted for the initial purchaser, so may not properly fit the subsequent owners.

This Steeldive Fifty Fathoms has a Seiko NH35 movement and, at £11 shipped, seemed like a decent buy!

I can agree that these are very nice indeed. Tried one on in my AD last year and still can’t believe I managed to walk out without it! Did walk out with a Submariner though!! smile
