Discussion
It’s been far too long since my last watch purchase (a Speedmaster, some years ago) and been looking for a reasonably priced, smartish looking watch for work wear (chinos/blazer type thing) & weekends.
After getting used to the size (slim and 37mm), think this will do the job:

Lovely, i've been looking at a Lander III but recent purchases means i have to put that on hold.
Lander is very nice and high on my list of future purchases too Based on the comfortable size of the Stanhope would also like to see the Hudson too.
Think will be making a visit to their showroom to try on a couple once they're back open...
Very, very excited.
Getting a lightly worn, pre-owned one of these tomorrow
It's costing me my BLNR & a chunk of cash, but hey, we're only here once.
I have wanted one of these since trying one on when they were new out, approx 5 years ago.
Never had a gold watch before. Must be a sign I'm getting old

Congrats. 37mm or 40mm? I'm trying to convince the Mrs that we could "share" the 37mm version. I think the only issue with pre-owned on these is the length of the oysterflex straps, which are measured and fitted for the initial purchaser, so may not properly fit the subsequent owners. I can agree that these are very nice indeed. Tried one on in my AD last year and still can’t believe I managed to walk out without it! Did walk out with a Submariner though!! Getting a lightly worn, pre-owned one of these tomorrow
