Three recent purchases

Formex Essence COSC - Been interested in these for a while so couldnt resist when one came up used at a good price

Oceaneva GTM - Wanted another GMT pref quartz

Seagull 1963 - Just because they look cool and at £120 has to be worth a try

If be interested to hear how you get on with the Formex. I've long had a hankering for a Formex Element.

Nice! Is that the one with the mesh bracelet? Liking more and more of what Breitling are bringing out recently.

Yep, that's the one.
I think Breitling are on a bit of a roll too. Keep looking at the Navitimer reissue.

Orient Triton in blue from Creation.

I've bought from Creation before, but this time I was given the option to have the watch sent in a pouch and for an extra £7 the box would be sent separately. It looks like by doing this I don't get charged for the duty. So I'll see if it works an let you know in a few days, I hope.

Congratulations, I have been waiting to see this new model.

MHD always catch my eye but haven’t made it to the order stage just yet.

£40 from my local hospice. The top left hand chrono is non functioning, but a brand new movement can be picked up for peanuts, so might just do that. I think the photo makes the scratches look worse than they were, not too bothered about them as my watches get well used anyway. Didn't think that was too bad!

I have one of these incoming - designed for surfing - although I will be using it specifically for mountain biking! hehe

It has the super bright, reflective MIP display with back light, as well as all the usual functions, including sunrise/sunset and Bluetooth link, which allows for phone notifications to appear on the screen. Essentially, whilst my phone is secured away elsewhere tracking my rides with Strava, I can check the time (and when it's about to get dark), as well as any messages that may come through, without stopping. thumbup

Surprisingly, this model has been really hard to obtain. It sold out within minutes and units have been selling for over RRP on eBay. I received an 'in stock' message from Casio this morning at 11:02am. By 11:22am, they were all sold out. I managed to bag the penultimate watch ...
