I'm going to echo what was said above, but for that Milgauss, it does it for me. Lovely cloud9

Thanks guys.. part of me wishes it didn't have the polished centre links but it is lovely and a bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the sports models. I was originally down for the blue dial but I'm glad I changed my mind. It would look good on a green Everest rubber strap also I think.

Feel free to prove me wrong, but I think it'd look nowhere near as good. I think a black strap would look better (although I think the original bracelet looks better than rubber on it)

The lovely local AD I use called to say this was in for me today! I rushed there to pick up what must be one of the last green lv Subs!

ETA - they also very kindly gave me a lovely brown leather Rolex watch roll.

Is this the internet's most pretentious (and yet still out of focus) photo?

That would be quite some feat!

However, I posted because today I had, for me at least a great incoming watch. But, such posts without a picture are, in my view a little boring and yet pictures of another sodding Rolex are also tiresome. So, pondering this problem for, well a few seconds actually - I popped into the pool table room and took a quick iPhone snap of my new green watch on the green baize......imaginative I know.

I hope things improve for you.

I'm fine, don't worry about me.

My point was that you obviously took care to set up and frame an artful shot (despite the 'popped in' claim wink ), and then failed to get the subject in focus.

I doubt anyone with a bottle of Johnny Walker red label could be accused of being pretentious....and the bravery to drink too apparently smile

Precisely! Ha!

Actually it’s only used for ‘dirty’ whisky&coke, along with that bottle of Haig Club!

The Highland Park on the other hand is lovely with just a drop of water. smile

Should clean the patina off that once in a while.

It looks great on the watch though.

Sold one and bought another today... Bye bye Damasko DC67Si, hello Seiko 6117-6400 World Time.

It's a birth year ('73), a first for me, and Seiko's first ever GMT movement. Seller's 'photo -
