I really like this particular El Primero, but I really don't like Chronos.

I've come close once or twice, and can't quite make it over the line...

Lockdown really helped me out with my decision, zenith allowing it to be bought online instead of factory collection only sealed the deal.

Of course I am heavily biased in this opinion... smile

But you're right, the TT rootbeer is a stunning watch. Just about flies under the radar for social media posts and hence (a good thing) not widely known. It's the thinking man's Rolex choice!

^^ that rolex is lovely, has totally changed my perspective on a rolex (although not the fact I cannot afford one)

Not a watch but watch related. It's an original fitting from a Breitling boutique. I'm planning to re-frame it in an aluminium frame and then it will be going on my wall as I really liked the image!

That's definitely an art in itself. Perfect for the man cave smile

So Rolex wont actually tell you the watch they have allowed you to purchase. Speaks volumes about the company and its customers imo

Tudor arrived today. Only ordered yesterday from Goldsmiths (get a 10% discount there)
Came with a ‘free’ watch winder. 5 year warranty on the Tudors now.

First impression is that it’s not quite as nice as my 9 year old Omega Seamaster.

But is nice enough though. Will need to get my head around the GMT function !

not really, I pulled some strings to get it, and was told they'd have something for me. The friend that sorted it has seen what they had and didnt want to tell me, and said that it might change by the time I get into town to pick it up so didnt want to misspeak. Not really a big deal, especially since my time to asking for one, to being told they'd have something for me was 3 minutes.

unfortunately they are massively in demand, far above supply, so it's more about the customers than the company. Of course there is the argument that they might hold back production but i have no idea whether they do or not.

A friend of mine spent four hours on the phone to a number of authorised dealers with a small incentive available to them and got offered, and bought a 'Pepsi' the next day.
