I'm no expert but looks nice! Like you said, dial and hands look similar. I don't think the GMT hand is too short?

The bracelet is also not correct / original, but I am not too concerned about that as I do not use them on any of my watches.

IF the watch was all original with box / papers the value would be double what I paid.

The probability is that I have paid market value for an old watch that is not quite correct. So fingers crossed.

A birthday present from Mrs hp7. My first CW and quite impressed. Wears well at 38mm.
Lovely looking watch. Is the hour or the GMT hand the quickset hand please?

I keep seeing these all over social media, I really like the look of the white dial version

I love that model. Fairly under the radar for a rose gold model.
I had to sell one last year due to needing to free up some funds, but really miss it.

So what would you suggest? I want an auto clean faced watch no bigger than 42mm not blue, I like the diver style but not fixated on it, I wouldn't buy longines, hamilton, casio, citzen. I have a seiko and tissot already so am no brand snob but wouldnt trying something different I would not want to spend more than £400.

Looks are subjective I know but the watches I linked to look nice IMO I also love Italy!!

Thanks - have been umming and ahhing for a while, but the introduction of Glidelock and the new movement finally tipped me over.

I like the look of these too, and I like that they have some proper funky colour combos. you wont find the serious watch fraternity liking them but not everyone needs to spend more that £500 on a watch.
have a look on chrono24 and ebay, because they are always for sale at less that RRP

I was monitoring the auction on a different watch and somehow this fell into my purchase basket
I will now take myself off and give myself a strong talking too

The case back of the Khaki Pioneer Mechanical gets underappreciated because of the stock NATO strap, but flip it onto a two piece and it really comes into its own with a unique gleam. Such a nice fit and finish all over this watch, absolutely worth its asking price which 100% isn't obvious from the stock photos.

Not a "true" GMT as such; it's the GMT hand which is quick set.

A lot more to a watch than just the movement ... if IWC can charge £5k for a watch with a Sellita movement in ... scratchchin
