Have this joining the collection either today or tomorrow. Wait time was around 6months which was similar for my Explorer and black Sub.
I’m not sure if it was just coincidence but I dropped the sales person at the main local boutique a note about my outstanding orders and he listed all but this one. When I asked him about his he didn’t respond. The next day I get a call from their other boutique (one which I rarely use) to say it had arrived.

Indeed, I would have been on the fence otherwise. I asked the sales guy to snap a shot so I could confirm. I much prefer the shade of the Mk1.
Though lots of reports of the colour change I don't think Rolex themselves have confirmed anything. Definitely haven't announced it as the anniversary sub so if there is a change it's not just for one year.If the website images are accurate then the shade looks more like the original non ceramic version.
I may well get one later this year so will be interesting.

Autodromo. They are a brand/watch that I really should like given that they do the watch/car connection decently (unlike so many others)
I just cannot get excited by any of their watches though.

I also struggle to equate Micro brands with prices much above £500

Fraser Hart just called to say they have a BB54 for me.
Will be popping in to see them at the weekend.
It'll be interesting to see how it wears on the wrist. I have the BB58 and I love the vintage inspired design, but it felt really small compared to my other watches. I'm used to it now as I wear it more than my others and feel it's actually a good size now. I wonder how much smaller the 54 wears and if it's too small for me or not. The new one is certainly handsome. Will be popping in to see them at the weekend.

Won the auction to be able to order this, think I found out about it on this forum, so cheers!
M.A.D 1 red, a side project for MB&F.
Arrival time from now until year end.
Really interested to see pics and read your opinion on it. It’s such a great idea from one of the worlds best independents.
I love how they’re getting more unique watches into wrists.

I am a sucker for something different and I’ve been wanting a watch with a 12 o’clock crown so couldn’t really pass this up. Not sure the strap is for me but love the movement and side view display.Really interested to see pics and read your opinion on it. It’s such a great idea from one of the worlds best independents.

Watched one review of it and the reviewer said it’s awful as a watch as when you first glance at your wrist you’re so taken by the blade movement you forget to read the time
