Hi

I bought something similar almost a year ago and the novelty is the same as day one, I love mine!

Won the auction to be able to order this, think I found out about it on this forum, so cheers!
M.A.D 1 red, a side project for MB&F.
Arrival time from now until year end.
Nice one!

Really interested to see pics and read your opinion on it. It’s such a great idea from one of the worlds best independents.

I love how they’re getting more unique watches into wrists.
I have one from the first lottery batch and it’s bloomin awesome. Everyone wants to play with it! Reading the time is fine, it’s super comfy despite the depth and the strap works really well too.

Nice, I've got one of those en route. Been looking on and off at them then noticed few places had money off them last week so decide to try one.

This is on pre order and should land in June. Spotted them on facebook and really like them. Made in Australia assembled in Switzerland.

Some information on the movement.

It's a nice looking watch, but I'm not sure I could carry off a watch with a movement nearly a foot wide.

You seem like a dangerous person to be around.

In the flesh it’s lovely. My resolve in the shop lasted about 5 seconds…

Now I need to remember not to care about bashing it into things and treat it like I do my plastic runner’s watch!

This thread has become an expensive discovery.

Doofus, T6, Harry: I hate you all, but I am going to stop now. This one “cost” a similar sum in jewellery trinkets to hold the domestic peace.

Is lovely but i'd be worried that even the slightest scratch would show through in 'not black'

I had a thing for black steel Breitlings and I waa paranoid about scratches!

I AM careful with watches but I didn’t pick up any scratches!

I too had a bit of a think about that. But I told myself I’m still not a watch person (despite…) and watches are functional items that necessarily wear. So if it picks up some dings, that’s life and more to the point, part of the watch’s life.

And then I stoped thinking about it any more in case I changed my mind. Because I’d already developed quite a painful yearning for that yellow dial with the three black insets.

Hi

It’s a lovely thing, just wear it and enjoy it!

I had another black watch for a while that I really liked!

thumbup It's a nice bit of kit. I saw a YouTube review of it where the chap had replaced the strap with an orange one and it looked fantastic. Something I may consider.

I've also got the plastic version in both black and yellow.

I've fancied something with a cushion case and California dial for a while without it being too expensive, found this on eBay and won the auction today so it should be with me later in the week.

I fancy a different strap with a bit of colour but at 21mm I have less options, I had fancied something in the blue to green spectrum but I'll need to see it in the flesh to work out what will go with the dial.

I really fancied a Luminox but then came across loads of really negative reviews online. Did yours prove reliable?

Hi

Mine was a Victorinox!

I didn’t have it very long because I sold to a friend who wanted it and the Pelagos had just come out (but not in the UK) and I wanted one instead!

Ah sorry, my mistake. Lovely looking watch regardless.
