Ah sorry, my mistake. Lovely looking watch regardless.
Easy mistake to make!

It was a regular version of the Victorinox Alpnach

It was something different, had some nice details and I never ever saw another one!

I too had a bit of a think about that. But I told myself I’m still not a watch person (despite…) and watches are functional items that necessarily wear. So if it picks up some dings, that’s life and more to the point, part of the watch’s life.

And then I stoped thinking about it any more in case I changed my mind. Because I’d already developed quite a painful yearning for that yellow dial with the three black insets.
Hi

It’s a lovely thing, just wear it and enjoy it!

I had another black watch for a while that I really liked!
my point wasn't around generally avoiding any wear on any watch (my deepsea is fairly battered and is daily'd), it was more that the process to create the matt black finish might result in any wear showing up the silver metal underneath... i.e. is it anodised or painted or what.

Hi

It’s DLC (diamond like coating) and I’ve never seen it wear through, I’ve never seen it but it may happen!

This thread has become an expensive discovery.

Doofus, T6, Harry: I hate you all, but I am going to stop now. This one “cost” a similar sum in jewellery trinkets to hold the domestic peace.

Naw! I did just notice after input photo up that the bezel was off centre but I’m not that precious tbh.

Whilst everyone seemed to be dribbling on the Black Bay 54, I think this was quietly the best new thing Tudor released at Watches and Wonders.

Good luck!

I’m now banned for a wee while after todays surprise purchase.
It is my 25th wedding anniversary next year but also my wife’s 50th so saving up for an expensive time.

Your wife's been married for 25 years more than you have?

Popped in yesterday to look at the new Carrera 36 in pink for my wife. Left with this and the wife’s. I know Tag’s aren’t to everyone’s liking on here but I really like it.
