Same here, been wanting one for ages and even more so to complete my little “art deco” corner in the living room.
You should go for it! They retail for a couple grand but they sometimes pop up for much cheaper, paid £730 for mine because it was listed under the wrong auction IMHO.

Gratuitous shot of the art deco corner

. Fills a gap in collection (GMT) so should hopefully get some good use...

this is on my to get list; lovely watch and 'arguably' quite good value for a Rolex with the complications compared to other high end makes.

I’ve been past a local jewellers a few times recently and have seen this pre-owned Omega Seamaster in the window. It’s a quartz so not ideal but I thought the price at £1,300 didn’t seem too bad (box, papers, 2 year guarantee). I am quite tempted but wondered what opinions on the price was.

I'd bet you could haggle them down 150/200 quid.

Lovely watches and that's a good price. I sold my quartz 2541.80 last year on ebay for £1600

Nice, but I don't think I could wear a watch with anus on the dial.

Also, what's with the letters on the dial between the 6 to 9 markers?

Nice! I'm sorely tempted by an S100.

It’s the evolution to my lineage…which I wear a lot. I wanted something that was simple but still solar etc. The one complaint about the non Bluetooth Casio’s is that they can be a faff sometimes. Although this could just be me being too lazy to learn how they work smile

I might have mentioned liking the Lineage too, but I think my Casio will be an Oceanus. I slightly like the square one, but it has a load of extra dials.

Fortunately the G-Shock I like looks-wise isn't solar, so I can knock that off the list.

Do it! I've loved mine over the last couple of years. Super well made and more accurate than anything else I own including my phone! (At least according to time.is)

What's the dial like? Just "flat" black?

It's more like a really dark and slightly reflective bluey purple because of the solar cell. I'm not sure how much of that is caused by the AR coating on the crystal though.

Is that the 41mm? If so it’s a great price.
