It's just a bit of fun. A lot of people who like cars like watches...especially vintage ones of both.

Just went into the garage with a watch on each wrist to take a photo only to realise I now have no way of pressing the button.
Maybe I should stop drinking

So what do we think to partner the Morgan down to Classic Le Mans this evening? '74 Silverstone or '65 Navitimer?

They're both fairly revolting but the Silverstone slightly less so

You must have something better in your enormous collection!

Not for a classic car event, no... It's a 'suitability' issue yes

Not sure what needs clarification? Or why you would be grateful for it, and in what way?

Why post a picture of a watch in any context unless it's purely for help? Why talk about a watch unless you need help otr advice with it? Then why are you on here if you only want a bone-dry help forum - this place doesn;t seem to be just for help, it's a discussion and sharing board, or at least it seems that way to me. People on here love cars, people on here love watches. Yet it pains you to see them in the same photo..?

It's a bit of fun and yes, it's a watch sub forum on a car forum! smile

Not sure where the 'it's sad' stuff comes from..?

/AFAIK I have never done it (may have done an Aston/AMOVOX shot?), but why is it more acceptable to post a picture of my watch at my desk? Or is that just as bad/sad?

Seems I need clarification as to the problem?
It is sad hehe

I thought it was a PH meme - that one photographed one's watch whilst in one's car.
