Hi

I find myself with a day or two spare in Tokyo, are there any good watch shops that I really should be visiting?

Thanks

Look at BIC Camera. It's a massive electronics place, but also sells loads of decent watches, Rolex, Omega, Sinn etc. I was there in March and they had a good selection of Rolex Subs, DJ, and a few SD's. Tax refund as well.

Yodabashi camera has a nice selection in Akihabara, I think it's on the 7th floor.

I second this! Picked up 2 G-Shocks there in March at a lot less than you would pay in UK.

They also have a good stock of other brands as well.

Well worth a visit just to look at all the cameras and other electronics as well.

There is a street at the back of the Sony center which had Hermes Versace and a load off watch shops of similar vein about seven years ago. Sorry can't be more specific but if you can find the Godzilla statue it's the opposite direction.

I was in Japan last week and went to Odaiba, I didn't realise you could visit the Fuji TV building - I'll have to save that for next time.

Thanks for all the info. It's a great place to shop. A Lot of time was spent walking the 6 floors of best watches in Shinjuku before I walked out with a nice Breitling superocean heritage - photos to follow. I now need to work out how I can go back and buy all the other ones I tried on
