Octopus watch - opinions?

Hi everyone,

Sometimes browse this forum but my first post here.

I've come across this watch and personally, find it truly unique and would be quite an impressive item to wear out occasionally. I can dream... it costs about $10,000 I believe.

Question is.
What do you all think - tacky looking or good craftsmanship?!

It doesn't appeal to me, but then I've never really liked skeleton watches.

Do you like it because of the Octopus or is it the skeleton bit? I've seen nicer skeleton watches that are cheaper.

It's the octopus! Never seen a design like it!

Low volume production, hand worked to achieve the design, profit margin for distribution/retail channels.
Stefan does some other nice work, but for a lot less, I'd personally be looking at Schaumburg (Linburgh & Benson).

Benzinger also does some lovely stuff, but you're still talking serious money.
