Absurdly pleased to have acquired no.83 this afternoon... (cheers Lorne)

Dreadful pic snapped with a handy compact and the white balance is well off. Going to try and get some decent pics of this as few out there do the watch justice, including this one.

A nice picture will go straight onto the web site as I don't have any good Roman Numeral bezel ones. Here's my attempt at photographing your watch before you arrived.

Very impressed with the additional plumbing under the hood of your TVR.

Nope. It's because IIX has 20% less engraving than VIII and so the visual weight across the bezel balances better. Also because VIII has too many uprights going on in it so it makes me feel a bit iccy if I look at it too long. I'm sure the Roman's would have got around to doing it this way eventually.
