Same as mine on previous page but interesting to see with the metal strap.

They do look big on us with thin wrists!

That reminds me of me. Fifty years old, good-looking, classy, probably not a good timekeeper and becoming a little rounded at the edges.

Rolex Platinum Yachtmaster - New to me, had it for a few weeks now and cannot fault it. Very comfortable to wear. Still find myself staring at it!

Well, you did say... wink

Otherwise known as "destro" watches, the primary reason for the crown and controls to be on the left is to aid wrist flexibility and prevent anything digging in to top of the wrist, it can also help prevent accidental operation of functions and also prevent snagging on gloves and suchlike. Other watches, for example Seiko's SKX007 or Sinn's GSG9 version of its EZMB2, have the crown in the 4pm or 10pm position for the same primary reason.

Andy's EZM1 was designed with German Special Forces in mind, hence the descision to place the controls on the left.

As an antidote to some rather beautiful and expensive timepieces, I picked this up on fleabay for £18 including postage.

An Indian watch to add to my growing collection.

Looks very nice regardless of the price.

Thanks. I have a watch for most occasions now. My cheap automatics and hand winding pieces get just as much wrist time as my more expensive watches.
