Most of what I'm reading is saying that original Batman will see a price increase as a result of this Jubilee update.
It’s been confirmed as the same price as the Pepsi, £7150.

A few changes apart from the strap. New movement plus what appears to be a slimmer case and darker blue bezel.

Bought mine in 2015. Just sits in the watchwinder. I’ll send watchfinder an email and see what it’s worth....

I thought this.

I suspect not for a while though. There are quite a few of them out there.

But they’re offering under list still to buy them in, so still a buyers market.

Oh I'm sure, having bought and sold 5 or 6 watches to WF I'm well aware it's a buyers market as far as they're concerned on many watches, my post related to a premium to buy one at retail rather than trade.

Somebody on TRF reported that Watchfinder bid them £8800 in January for a 2018 BLNR and then £11-£11.5k for the same watch last week.

Ooo...interesting. Would expect them to list at £14k+ if they're paying that?...

Well here's our answer. One of the 9 watches has been priced on WF this morning. A 2015 for nearly £14k...

You'd have to be insane to buy one at that price laugh

That's what people said when they were £8-10k. Yet still they rise. The same could be said about Ceramic Daytonas which have been quietly rising to touching £20k money.

I was one of the very lucky ones who managed to get a Batman new and at list (£6500) in late 2017. What these price rises do however is make me more cautious about wearing it and enjoying it, as I could wipe value off it very easily with just the smallest of marks/incidents/accidents.

I certainly didn't buy it as in investment, but at the same time I am not rich enough to simply throw away nearly 100% profit. It's a bit of a rock and a hard place to be honest, but there's worse situations to be in I suppose.

There are many far nicer watches available for that money rather than paying an over inflated amount.
