Which watch keeps tempting you?
Discussion
The 2 I have always wanted are a Hublot Big Bang and An AP Royal Oak which are actually quite similar I guess. I have a mid sized Omega Seamaster as my normal watch
I ummed and erred about a new watch this Xmas but in the end went for Carbon Fibre side blades for my R8 instead which I fitted yesterday with a pal. These are genuine Audi parts before you ask!
Instead I bought a homage Big Bang instead for £18 off Amazon, I have form for this as I bought a £20 Richards Mille Skull last Xmas and posted on here which no one found hilarious(!)
The annoying thing is when my wife saw the Bog Bang Homage she asked about it, I said it was £7k and she expressed only disappointment that she hadn’t been the one to give it to me for Xmas! Good to know that a future purchase of this nature will past the spend test with such ease
I’m going to wear this for a bit and see if I like it. It looks close enough. If I like it I’ll buy the real thing 2nd hand next time I get promoted

Real-world option? I keep looking at this:
I really love the ethos behind it and I'm sure I'll own one at some point.
Promise I'm not being paid by Lorne to say this, but I do love mine. I really love the ethos behind it and I'm sure I'll own one at some point.
Currently sporting # 110, owned for about a year now I think. I've got it on a brown strap which I prefer to black or a bracelet.
Like most people I own a number of watches but tend to wear only a few, and this has fallen into that select group (which is no small achievement as I'm a fickle sod). I travel quite a bit with work and for some reason it seems to fit really well into this task; it's smart enough to wear to meetings but also feels robust enough to cope with the indignity of European economy flying
Even my wife 'borrows' it on occasion which again is quite a compliment, there's only one watch of mine that she wears otherwise.

I have had mine (120) for about 9 months and love it. I seem to be in the rarity as I have mine on the bracelet witch i fine more comftoble than straps as a whole. If you do deside to get one you wont be disapointed. Lorne said:

For me, it’s all about the date; it’s the reason I don’t have one despite it being a very lovely watch. If only they did a date version...Buffalo said:

+1 lovely clean watch, but to be ultimately useful needs a date window (no Cyclops).dalecan said:

I think the Milgauss is a great looking watch

Well... now I just need to find one, any ideas where I could go tomorrow/monday and pick one up right away?
This will be my first expensive watch so I'm not clued up with it all.

Desperately tempted to get a Breitling Colt Skyracer.
I know it's a fun y material and quartz but I love the overall look and think it's probably the only watch I'd wear to work and not stress about that's interesting and has clever technology in it.
Talk me out of it.
That’s not a quartz watch pictured??I know it's a fun y material and quartz but I love the overall look and think it's probably the only watch I'd wear to work and not stress about that's interesting and has clever technology in it.

The lugs are weird, it’s not a screw or spring bar like most watches. It’s kind of like 2 L shaped extensions to the case, so I could not see how you would change straps!I know it's a fun y material and quartz but I love the overall look and think it's probably the only watch I'd wear to work and not stress about that's interesting and has clever technology in it.

They are really nice watches.
