Wrist Check 2017

Received earlier this morning and put straight on the wrist, it's a watch I've wanted to try for a while after owning a few Seiko SKX models. Very happy with this one!

They're great, tough watches these, I've got the full lume as well as the black one.

I might have to hunt down the full lume version as well, very much the honeymoon period with this one however I think I can say that I prefer this to previous SKXs that I've had. Build is about the same though having a hand wind movement and a much more characterful dial and handset combo on the NY0040 seals the deal for me.

As lovely as the log is (and it is indeed lovely) I think it is the movement that would interest us the most.

Still not 100% sure of the strap, but the watch is beautiful!

You can't beat seiko's for a cheap daily watch!
