I borrowed a friend's for the day.... thought it looked a bit small.
Whenever I have seen on "in the wild" I have always thought they looked great.

Was sat next to a chap today with the latest Explorer 1.
Looked all the better for being a bit smaller than normal.

I have lusted after one for a while - but felt it looked a bit lost on my wrist.

It's obviously your call, but I reckon you would get used to the size.

Bit of a punt at that price though.

Until I can get to the heights of an aquanaut, I'll enjoy stuff like my speedy pro;

I'd prefer the Speedy TBH.

I've tried to like Patek sports models but I just cannot. They may be beautifully made but they're bloody ugly.

A bit too much of a punt I reckon... I wear a bigger watch normally, it looked too small on me, almost a womens size.

I don't think it is, is it. You're confusing it with fisting, which presumably is another of your interests.
