Thank you.
1600 hours is 4pm. I don't see why '16' (for example) would be at the 8pm position.
I am obviously being incredibly thick! Just never seen time displayed in this way before.
The orange hand moves round once in 24 hours. 1600 hours is 4pm. I don't see why '16' (for example) would be at the 8pm position.

You can get it with a 24 hour movement as well on the main hands, mine is a regular 12 hour movement.
It is really easy to get used to, and when you travel a lot, leaving the orange hand on UK time can be very handy.

I couldn't live with that. A single hand 24 hour dial would drive me mad, but might possibly be tolerated, but a conventional layout that only rotated once every 24 hours would be impossible. 12 noon with "little hand up and small hand down"? No thanks, not ever.
In pre digital days it would have been very useful as a tool - one way to ensure you where at the 'corrects' 3 o'clock. battered said:
For those without access to the sun, or living at either pole, possibly. I've never been sufficiently confused to be unable to work out whether it was 3am or pm, but there's always a first time. If I were, my cheapy Timex auto has a secondary 24h dial, which I will admit is useful for setting the date.
As a tool it was useful once. Not now, but then loads of things have been superceded.

For those who worry about how I wear my watch. A pic today showing normal wear, hope this satisfies the obsessive amongst us
PS If I raise my arm the watch will slip a good 1" down my wrist
If it's loose, the bracelet will wear more quickly. It's up to you though.PS If I raise my arm the watch will slip a good 1" down my wrist

I bought this unworn a few weeks ago but finally sized it yesterday, I absolutely love it, I get why so many people go around in a circle of accumulating watches and end up with just a ND Sub
Very nice, that is identical to the last Rolex I owned, I sold it in 2014. Actually, I did the ‘round and round’ you mention, and ended up with the no date sub, and then wondered if I should have got the ‘three line’ version. It never ends!

Nicely done. You went for the better looking pre-ceramic too.
ThanksA few months ago I bought a 1967 "metres first" Sub and it changed my view of my ceramic bezel watches but didn't really want to wear the metres first every day though couldn't help myself so thought of getting a 14060M too, lots of the so called "mint" 14060Ms weren't really mint so I paid the extra for a stickered / unworn watch as I was convinced it would be a very long term prospect
I justified it by deciding to sell my SD4k which I originally bought because I liked the tapered lugs which reminded me of the older watches
