Love that. So understated.
Thank you, and I agree. To my mind it's what (Grand) Seiko do best; immaculately finished, a subtle whispering quality, and a dash of tech - the movement - thrown in to the mix. I have a Spring Drive GS as well though it's the little quartz number that gets greater wrist time.

Bought this late last year but have only just started wearing it.
A 3712/1A? That's some serious pennies spent there...

I can't remember the last time I wore this it's been that long. Had this around 13 years and it's never wanted for anything.

It's got a lot of wear and had a hard life but just keeps going.

Ahhh Dr Hilly, you should have a white tunic on with that, I'm surprised Andy sold it.

Enjoy.
I know it's was a surprise when I seen it on SC. I really do like it, the only problem is the plexiglass I am totally clumsy and always catching my watches. Time will tell

Still wearing mainly my 16700 GMT Master which I bought new in 1995 and have worn almost every day since, so if we're a car it would be on 200,000 miles by now! Other watches have come and gone but this remains my favourite

Take it back, the pip lines up with the 12 Batton, yet the 30 is miles off the 6 batton.
Not so sure it is.... looks just slightly off to me looking at the 15 & 45 markers smile

Anyway I was going to say to mcpiston .... Not enough colour on the Bezel beer
