I have been wearing this for a while.
What are my options for repairing the minute hand - can the missing lume be 'glued in' or do I need new hands?
I really like these, I got a bit over excited about the Type XXII but then had a feel of one and thought it was just too much, too big and a bit too everything! What are my options for repairing the minute hand - can the missing lume be 'glued in' or do I need new hands?
WHERE is the lume? Has it become a game where you flick the lume back into the hand?

It’s easily repairable, but the colour match may be the problem. I suspect the service centre will just opt for replacing both main hands, if not the chronographs one as well, to keep everything consistent.
If the lume is not a custom colour, then removing the existing lume and redoing it will be a definite option.
Agree. The hands will come as a set. It’s easily repairable, but the colour match may be the problem. I suspect the service centre will just opt for replacing both main hands, if not the chronographs one as well, to keep everything consistent.

That's really nice what's the size.
42 mm - dratted dainty wrists, anything that fits comes with diamonds, and anything I like has bigger overhangs than the Forth Bridge Oris Tycho Brahe

The lume is sort of stuck against the rehaut (I think that's what it is called rather then Renault that my phone insists it is)WHERE is the lume? Has it become a game where you flick the lume back into the hand?
I may take it to an independent and see if they can put it back - although there doesn't seem to be much patina on the numerals so a new set may not be too bad if it comes to that.

So you bought one in the end?
Did you swap a kidney for it?
Did the deal on Saturday but had some checking to do,Did you swap a kidney for it?
Mrs T6 has said I need to lose one of my Balls
I think she means one of these but I'll keep an eye on the scissors just to be on the safe side
Definitely will use it as a daily which is a shame for the L/H ball as that was bought last year for that task

Vintage .... And with some issues so within my budget, because of the issues it'll never have the value of an 'original' one so should it get bashed as a daily it's not so catastrophic,As we spoke on a different thread .... Major saving now starting for a new one, 50 now so maybe a new no radiations for my 55th

I have 45mm watches and I don't think they look oversized on my 7" wrist.
42mm is perfect imho.
This is the watch on the Oris site btw:

Not sure I understand the comments here about it being odd to wear a watch on the right hand. I'm a lefty and that's what I must do to protect my timepieces. I wear (normal) right sided crown watches on my right wrist. I've considered LH watches like the Pelagos but I'd never adjust a watch on wrist anyway so no point.
Thoughts?
