If you never try anything new, you'll miss out on all of life's great disappointments. biggrin

Very happy with my new Ebay acquisition, but then I do have a weakness for 60s / 70s kitsch.

New (Ebay) strap that hasn't moulded yet.

Did you choose it to match your hair?

I saw one of these today - I do not need another watch, but I thought it looked great.

Nice, not going to be easy to find bracelets for that though!
There is a bracelet version

If it wasn’t for the hands on that Tudor ^ I’d buy one. Just something about the hands I don’t like.

The one I tried on had a bracelet. I really like it, but am not buying more watches for the moment.

But I really like it.

A lot.

I reckon I’ve blown over £40k this year on five pieces via Chrono24. I think generally you can trust them but here is what I do:-

1. Ask the questions, get additional photos if needed.
2. I write my T&C’s in the comment box ie “payment made on the basis of.......”
3. Always escrow via C24
4. Always communicate via C24
5. Check out the Dealer:- Bricks and mortar if poss, reviews, helpfulness etc....
6. Always video (time sensitive, time certified) your unboxing. Call out obvious flaws on video.

I’ve had a couple of minor issues on two purchases and this was resolved very quickly with no quibble. There is a 14day no questions asked return policy - but that will cost you plenty in postage and insurance if your dealing with a +£2500 watch for instance. Always video returns being packed just like the unboxing. Helps if there is a claim for them “unpacking an empty box”.
Very detailed response, thanks for that. smile

New watch underwater by Lewis Craik, on Flickr

One from earlier in the year - was given the watch as a present for being best man at a mates wedding in Cyprus.

That's a shame. Did you know before you bought it? Maybe you can get your money back.
