A bit of high end luxury today! smile

I couldn't resist the blue of this dial for £50 a couple of years ago!

It doesn't get much wear (I only noticed the 24 hour subdial today!), but I still like the dial though - reminds me of the Sinn Arktis.

The bezel doesn't move though! biggrin

Nice.

Always been a fan of Oris - much underrated in my opinion (which is nice as it keeps prices down!)
You are dead right. The time keeping of this watch is as good as my Rolex and Omega

I do like blue dials and that is a lovely shade of blue.

I very stupidly gave my last Oris to a girlfriend who had a habit of wrecking quartz watches (they just kept stopping on her for some reason). The Oris ran perfectly. Unfortunately when I ditched her she kept it.
Now on the lookout for another the same to replace it.
Mine was this one:

I like the look of that... how does the world time function on it?

You rotate the outer bezel so the time zone you are in is aligned to the hour hand. The time in each other time zone is then read off against the time zone on the outer bezel. So if you were in Dhaka the time in London is 12, Cairo 1 and so on. If you were in London rotate the bezel to the 3 position (where the hour hand is pointing) and you'll see the time in Dhaka is 6. Note this is the standard time for that timezone and not and seasonal adjusted time.

Beat me to it. Its really easy to read when you get used to it. I have not worn it that much since I increased my collection, and I did think of selling it, but I put it on yesterday morning and started to bond with it again, plus its time keeping is remarkable

Thanks for that, what counts as grey market? Is it like just not a main dealer? I'm always worried about buying expensive things like watches through channels that aren't 100% known quantities to me.
Yes just bought from outside the main dealer network. Sometimes it's necessary to get rare models, but can also be good to save a few thousand! But I do prefer buying brand new from the UK main boutique myself, though it's hard to do that and not end up losing 20% the second you step out the store. If you are happy with that as your cost though (go in eyes open) it's a nice, stress free way to buy.

Preheated oven/furnace at 540 degrees Fahrenheit should do the trick smile
