Day one pic so no patination so far... might be in a bag with a boiled egg in the next day or two if it doesn't calm down a bit - rather 'gold' currently, especially in artificial light
I love everything about these apart from the case size. If it was 40mm, I'd have one like a shot. Lovely lovely watch, and the canvas strap suits it perfectly.
Eh? It's 41mm. Don't tell me that you can tell a difference in case size of 1mm.

43mm, as opposed to 41mm for the regular Black Bay.

That's the last thing on earth I'd want to wear if I had a hangover.

My new flavour of the month.

£39 Sekonda Daytona (rrp £90) on a red NATO. Cheap as chips and a lovely thing.

Looks nice.

That's really smart. I'm a big fan of Longines but hadn't seen one of these before.

It looks a bit Tag Carrera-ish (in the best possible way) and is no doubt much better value for money.

This is an old picture but I dug this out of the safe earlier this week. I had to attend a funeral and thought I'd wear a dressy watch with my black suit. It's still on my wrist today and has worked well with business attire too. I haven't worn this watch in so long but I am going to try to wear it a bit more now.

Nice.
it's pretty heavily inspired by franck muller, I'd say
I really like that - in fact, possibly more than FM. I presume that these are discontinued looking on the Oris website?

Yes - discontinued years ago. They very occasionally pop up for sale. Chrono24 has one up for £557, located in Germany.
