Yes. I've bought quite a few off them but was surprised that the buckled so easily.

It's a really nice watch thumbup but them discounting like that says everything about their confidence in their own line up and pricing structure.

Thanks. To be fair, I typically get between 12 & 15% discount regardless of what brand I've bought.

I've been told I can expect similar off a Rolex Daytona in a few years time (for my 50th).

True, but that's one hell of a wrist!

Pictures don't do this guy justice, it's perfect. Steel and gold on bracelet on the other hand left me cold.
I don't have words for how wrong it all looks, sorry! It's wonderful we all have such difference tastes smile

Still looking forward to seeing the steel/gold on the leather strap however...

I admit, it's one of those watches that doesn't look that good in pictures but in real life it really pops. I thought that S&G will blow me away however when I tried them both steel blew me away and steel and gold left me very cold.

I've seen that watch possibly from hilly before on here and thought it looked great the last time, it has a very clinical simple elegance, almost like a cool scientific instrument.

V nice indeed.

I've worn a few watches in the last couple of weeks, so here's a month's worth!

Worn during much of May - one of my favourites:

Worn during Whitsun week, this is now my holiday watch. Bought new in April 1997, I can't believe I've had it 20 years:

This week, my trusty old 16700 GMT. I will have had this 19 years in August but as values have risen I've been wearing it less and less:

Finally, I dug this out today and fitted a Toshi strap. I don't think I've worn it in the last year. Could be one for the chopping block as I really fancy a Tudor Heritage Chrono blue.

why would you stop wearing a watch because the value of it has increased?
