Or perhaps losing a grand or two for them is like an average person losing 10p.
Yep, for some people it''s worth a couple of grand to have it NOW, to be able to turn up at a party etc with a "talking point"You'd imagine that kind of person might be a great / regular customer at an AD though and get one pretty quickly at RRP

Does anyone know if the red lettering will carry over to 2018?
I've been told by my local that their list is closed, and it would be 2018 before I could get one...
No-one knows, but people are speculating due to it being an Anniversary watch. I don't believe that that'll happen. I've been told by my local that their list is closed, and it would be 2018 before I could get one...
I spoke to a local AD who said their list was now over 100 for this piece. Even if 50% drop out, that's still a long wait!

To clarify, you don't believe that 2018 will have the red lettering?so maybe mr bought it from watchfinder might not be so daft then ...see chrononext want 16250 for theirs.....will be interesting to see what happens to values in the future especially if they do only run the red for one year
by the way I think the watch looks great, I think the date bubble makes it, sea dwellers have always looked a bit 'wrong' for me with the date being so small on the big watch

Managed to pick one up in St Tropez Sunday, went in to enquire about one and she brought one down!
Allegedly it was reserved for a well known client and they hadn't heard from him in a while. In the end she sold it to me as it was the boutiques first client on the day as the old boutique had closed down or moved.
It fits well on me and I have the Sub C and the DSSD Blue. I think the Sea Dweller will be my daily beater and the wife can wear the Sub C.

Not sure but I remember her saying it was the first day of trading and I was the first customer to buy.
The card says -
Doux
24 Rue Francois Sibilli
I know it, I didn't know they were a Rolex AD too, Frojo is an AD about 30 metres to the right, normally I just gawp at the Richard Mille's in Doux's window in disbelief! The card says -

I wouldn't have been able to tell you the name of that shop before I looked it up and saw a photo of it, it's been a watch shop for YEARS but may have had a different name, along with Frojo therr is another Rolex AD in one of the passages that connects that road to the port, seems amazing to have 3 within 30 metres of each other no matter how well heeled the visitors are, maybe she meant that one of them had lost the Rolex deal

Just got back from Ireland where I purchased the sea dweller 43 from the window in keanes in limerick, couldn't believe my luck, I had to pay €10600 for it which is about £1000 over UK price, they also had a batman, deep blue, sub date, the dealers are all saying rolex prices in the U.K. Are going to all go up soon In Line with Europe,so if you want a rest sport Rolex get a Ryan air flight to Shannon drive to limerick visits keanes.
