... here are mine - the Seiko for when I'm doing anything that might damage one of the other two. I reckon they make a nice 'gang of three' - what say you?

I'd love a nice white-faced watch if I could find one that a) I like and b) I could read with my dodgy eyesight smile

Let's see your three!

A good choice Sir....I have a similar trio..I agree with the need of a white dial too, being of a certain age!

I am looking at vintage myself though..

Ironic that your seiko is near spotless and rolex scratched to fk.

I have a trio of 1. It's a datejust, and it's scratched to fk. It's been painted on, spannered in, covered in all sorts. Some o the scratches are from cleaning it, some from changing brake pads. One is from when I fell off the bike.

I think of em all as patina. I know the story behind the biggest 3 dings, and lets be honest, an immaculate watch on me would be a kind of hypocrisy =)

PS - it's a SS DJ with batons and white face. Dead easy to read, even when I have my glasses off (+1.2, +2.5 astigmatism)

I think the light makes it look worse than it is - to be fair it gets more wear than the others. It's due a service and will no doubt get a polish when I get around to sending it off. Lovely watch though - I've been so tempted to trade it in for a BLNR but can't bring myself to do it - might get the bezel swapped for a pepsi next time I'm in London though smile
