I do have one watch which is absolutely priceless to me though.

My son who was one of the UK's top windsurfers and Animal were one of his sponsors, they gave him this watch for winning the Indoor Windsurfing Jump Contest at the London Boat Show in 2004. I worked for the UKWA as the organiser and when he made the winning jump it was the proudest moment of my life.

Unfortunately he died in June 2004 when he fell from a jetski, this watch is one of the few things he left me and my Submariner means nothing in comparison.
Heart-breaking, as a parent I can only imagine what you went through and no doubt still are. It is in instances like these that we suddenly understand things which we may not have previously. Things are nothing, people are everything.

On looks alone the one on the right looks nicer to me.

I have never been a massive fan of the Yachmaster, although always really liked them, but the Everose one is stunning imho..

Stunning
They are.

Not a Yachtmaster fan at all, but I keep lusting after these Everose-Oysterflex ones with serious want factor...........just not sure about p'ex my 16610 Sub for one though.

Would it be wrong to like the 37 mm version of that as more suited to my puny 6.5" wrists?

Worth trying to find a dealer with both to try on and compare that way.

But, 40mm version wears quite small anyway, so don't think you need to consider the 37mm version, even with 6.5 wrists.

Is there a waiting list for those? I fancy getting the wife one for Christmas.

My Sub is from 1985 and as been rebuilt by Rolex in 2008 it’s one watch I would never sell

Sorry but that is absolutely gopping, the OPs new purchase is a lovely example of a Yachtmaster.

Rubber straps are horrid and that everrose / rose gold isn’t to my taste.

But each to their own, as long as you like it smile
