I overheard a chap outside Mappin and Webb's window, speaking to his mate, "look at that moon face watch".

That Skywalker looks just great. Nice pic. Still fancy a Gen 1 or 2 X-33 myself.

Sporting this today on the new GasGasBones NASA style strap.
The significance of the leather tag is the date of astronaut Dave Scott's mission when he wore the original Bulova Lunar Pilot, the location and part of a quote from him on the surface of the moon.

Nice.
I've not seen that before.
Very nice indeed.

I have no idea why these haven't "made the jump" so to speak into collectables, bloody lovely piece of jewellery. My father bought me my blue faced DJ and I can never sell it but, if were ever to be lost (god forbid) or stolen this is what I would replace it with.

WOW! That's real sexy. I may have to grab one soon. Very underrated Rolex.

Quite pleased they haven't just yet! I've yet to see another person wearing one in the flesh (inc the white or black dial), so I'm liking the relatively decent exclusivity of it. Of course they're each to their own in style (and colour), but thats what I like about this piece.

Underrated for sure and a bit of a slow burner I hope... rumoured for some time to be on the cusp of deletion.
However, as a functional watch, my blue GV is hopeless. In anything less than bright sunlight (in which it is awesome), it is really difficult to read the dial. Dingy lit boozer; waste of wrist space despite the lume.
GS Peacock knocks it into a tin hat... still a keeper " though smile
