Personally, I say, let’s see a wrist check from you guys. I love cars and watches and that’s what I’m here for. My post wasn’t intended as braggy or anything like that. Was purely a wrist check, that had more than a desk or someone’s shoes as the background. Light hearted blurry fun, not trying to show off women or Louis Vuitton handbags or bottles of champagne.
I wouldn't worry to much, there's always going to be someone who doesn't like something on here.
Exactly, unfortunately some people are desperate to tell the world how much they don't like everything. It adds nothing.

Challenge accepted, however I suspect that my picture of a Tesco bag and Babycham may not cut it. ;-)

I'll gladly divert the flak away from you by posting a picture of an old, cheap fossil watch of mine if that helps? It has stopped and I haven't bothered getting it sorted as I haven't worn it in around two years and will likely never wear it again. I should probably throw it away.

A cheap, knackered watch. Imagine the outrage!

I know this post was in jest, but I've collected over half a dozen fossil watches over the year (I like their quality for the money, but don't buy them at sticker prices), I've been selling them on and they actually fetch a decent amount of money. They might not retain value like a Seiko, but you'd be surprised.

I would be; you're right! Every day is a school day!

This one wouldn't though because it looks like I've left it rattling around in a cement mixer hehe

I used to work as a sparky on the building sites and I'd wear it to work on occasions. I worked on a site that didn't allow mobile phones, that's the only time that I've ever worn a watch in the past (and it wasn't for very long). I didn't take very good care of it in the short time that I used it TBH, chucking it on the dashboard in the van, using it whilst working with power tools and the like which is quite poor behaviour on my part since it was a gift.

The back of it is scratched to st and it's on its second strap - they sell heaps of different colours so I have a black one (a replacement for the original that was tatty) and an orange one that tempted me sorely for some odd reason but I have never used as the watch just sits in a desk at home silly

I'm feeling all nostalgic for the thing now so I might dig it out again!

It's not; the arm hair is just about sharp (well a couple of them)... the rest is just bokeh as the possessor of such a watch, woman, and pool use rights can only have good lenses. Jeez smile

Actually I liked it...

Rocking one of my new purchases today... What a dial, and what a movement! I love it.

Looking to add a none chrono watch to the collection a little later this year.

Love this but unlikely given the numbers. Who knows though!

Like these. The one feature I really need in a timepiece, and this has - over the Rolly Cosmo, is... a date!
