It's already in my basket, I think I'm doing very well to resist!

Must. Not. Drink. Alcohol. hehe
My business partner once touted an idea for a device that was effectively a breathalyser login for paypal.
Maybe with a bit of work it could be extended to ebay and various watch buying sites.
I imagine ebay would be keen for that to remain just an idea, surely 10% of their transactions are done late in the evening around the weekend? hehe

I know what you mean HSV. A couple of pieces keep popping up here that I neither need nor (for one at least) can afford) but...

Should be fine. They're a good bunch in there. Had 3 watches from them now - That one, a Lunar Pilot and my Mühle Glasshütte 29er.
It's not looking good frown

Had an email saying the watch wasn't in stock and the one they had was the leather strap version. No problem I said as I'd have changed the strap anyway but I've now had another email saying the wrong image was on the website with a link to the actual watch they have in stock. Problem is it isn't the same watch at all. I don't like the one in the link (it's not got the nice movement) so I've emailed saying it's not the same watch and I specifically wanted the military one.

Sadly I've just had a dispatch text come through so I hope they've not sent it because it'll have to be returned.

Bugger.

It is nice! I know nothing about them but love a good '70s (?) watch. Any more info on the "interesting life" story?
Back at home will do a thread later on, so as not to clutter this up smile

Yep, nevermind! The strap I ordered for it will look good on another so there is one positive from this whole experience hehe

Well no new Bulova for me sadly. First Class watches tried their best, spoke with Bulova who thought they had one but it turned out they didnt.

Nevermind, they were very apologetic so I'd happily order again through them.

That's a pity.
They are good folks there. I've never been disappointed in their service and they'll often do a deal.

Yep they seemed decent, not too far from me either so that's another bonus.

The new straps fitted nicely onto a Seiko chrono, as you said great value for money so I'll be ordering some more.

I put this on a NATO as the standard strap and buckle are a bit bulky and need wearing in.
