I've gone a few years without buying a watch, and now I've bought my second within the space of a fortnight...

Always fancied a Seiko 5 for the collection. I also fancied a gold coloured watch. Sign of age I suppose but it would make a nice change from the usual stainless steel. Arrived today and I like it. Even got a display back.

That's one lovely watch there. Time you had it cleaned though. Look at the sludge on the links!lick

Absolutely right.

I wear it all the time hence the dirt & scratches.

Been wearing this the last couple of days. I really like it, but I'm always surprised each time I put it on by how large it is in both diameter and thickness.

Want to swap?

I haven't worn this for a while - I got it for my 30th birthday - nearly 30 years ago!

A refreshing change from large steel sports watches. Hopefully you'll still be wearing it in another 30.

That's the Marine Klassik (as opposed to 'Original'). Normally an auto I specced it with manual wind 2804, Romans and glass back.

Wearing this today in honour of a lovely message of thanks from a real NASA Astronaut who left a nice comment on my video about battery change and resetting the X-33.

I quite like that. Apart from the cigarette lighter stuck on the side, obviously.

Nice email.

So what’s the score with shuttle crew being “allowed to buy” one per mission? You’d think omega would be keen to be associated with nasa and giving them to people going into space? Or at least NASA buying them?

Maybe they can buy them at a big discount like Bremont do with their watches?
