I'm really liking the 2017 released models, slight retro 1970's look. Does anyone have one of the new watches, or indeed an older Chronoris? How do you find it?

Not many places seem to stock them, so not an easy watch to see in person. These are the new ones that have caught my eye, with the Williams edition adding Chrono

Me to loving the look of that very retro

Also these are quite nice, not launched yet they are doing autos and quartz, they are very 70s
Stratton watch co The auto movement is going to be the Valjoux ETA 7750 which is no bad thing

Not much interest I see, I guess they don't have the investment potential many people seem to focus on, since they are an Oris and not a traditional design. They will likely date more quickly, I get that. Need to find one in a shop to see in the flesh.

The speedy MK2 holds similar appeal to me, but a much higher price.

I haven't got a Chronoris but I did have a look at one last year when I was looking for a new Aquis. They had one (the non-chrono version) in stock at Goldsmiths in Meadowhall, Sheffield. I thought it was a smart looking watch, and it really gets that 1970s look right.

You'd be better off looking at a different forum for information on Oris watches (watchuseek is good).

This forum is mainly just discussions about waiting lists for Rolex Submariners.

I have the Orange & Black one from a few years back. It’s lovely.

Thanks will take a look there. I guess it's a bit like the Porsche forum, everyone wants to talk about their place on a GT3 waiting list, or how much their car is appreciating but hardly anyone wants to talk about a 9 year old Cayman.

Very nice, might have a look at that second hand, but presumably don't come up too often.

I’ve got a TT3 Chrongraph too. PVD titanium, black & rose gold with a carbon fibre face.

It’s also lovely. Got a lot of love for Oris. Major bang for your buck!

I also have a TT3, although not a chrono one, just Titanium silver, with carbon dial amd rubber strap. Think I paid about £350 for it new back in the day. I suspect I'd recover that if I tried to sell, not that I have any intention of doing so. Unfortunately the rubber strap degraded a bit when I left it in a cupboard for a long period, need to get a replacement for it.
