Just a GMT II in black.
I got one a year ago, I actually preferred it to the sub or sea dweller.

Those were the days.... actually had all 3 side by side to choose from! (Actually make that 4 as they had date & no-date subs!)

Got the call last week, as usual, i'm away at work so my wife went in to collect it, same happened with my Daytona in May.
Put my name down for the GMT the day it was launched at Basel world, had my name down for the Daytona about 3 years.
Haven't been schmoozing the dealer, but I have bought a few Rolex off of him, some of the less popular with folk, purely because I liked them, including the Airking and Explorer 2, and a date-just for my wife.

Congratulations, I hope you LOVE it, I think the problem with a watch can be sold immediately at quite a big profit is that it becomes easier to find faults with it, hope you don't have any doubts and just enjoy it!

Pal of mine has got hold of one, it’s much nicer in the metal than the pictures isn’t it?

The strap is far more comfortable than I expected as well.

I`m going to go against the grain here and say I don`t like it. Too busy for me. The Tudor version actually looks better.

Still a nice thing though so hope you enjoy it.

I`ve kind of went past the SS pish, and have decided I want a Bi Metal Date Just or a Day Date ! smile

Agreed and a lot share that view. The jubilee is trying to dress up a sports watch and does look too busy. I think it looks a lot nicer on the oyster bracelet. Also, the red just looks washed out.

As always different strokes for different folks.

Problem for me is the Tudor is just a 6542 homage, this is the daddy...

I think it's a great looking thing. I didn't 'get' the Pepsi look for a while but I really like it now. I also think the Jubilee bracelet works well and makes a nice change to the Oysters that you see on so many watches.

I've even considered swapping my Sub for an older Pepsi GMT. But, I do worry I'd get bored of the look at some point. I also have no real need for the GMT function, so've satisfied the 'Pepsi' urge via a cheapo Seiko!

It may well be, which makes it lucky it never passed on too many genes. Specially the ugly ones.
